Elma Hoste depicts the silence

Elma Hoste-Berkenbosch (1968) liked drawing in her childhood. At school, the edges of her notebooks were full of drawings. When she became a mother in her thirties, she could not find what she was looking for to decorate her children's rooms and decided to start painting. From that moment, she worked on a regular basis as a self-educated artist, looking for new styles and forms.
In the recent years, she focusses on painting everyday objects.
Elma lives in The Netherlands and is a member of the artist collective Krimpener Kunstwaard.
