Elma Hoste-Berkenbosch (1968) loved drawing as a child. In high school, the edges of her notebooks were filled with drawings. When she had children in her thirties, she wanted something beautiful for their bedroom, couldn't find it and started making children's paintings. As a self-taught artist, she has been painting weekly with great pleasure since then, always looking for new styles and forms of expression.

Her focus has been on painting everyday objects for years now.

Elma is a member of Krimpener Kunstwaard.

Elma Hoste-Berkenbosch (1968) liked drawing in her childhood. At school, the edges of her notebooks were full of drawings. When she became a mother in her thirties, she could not find what she was looking for to decorate her children's rooms and decided to start painting. From that moment, she worked on a regular basis as a self-educated artist, looking for new styles and forms.

In the recent years, she focusses on painting everyday objects.

Elma lives in The Netherlands and is a member of the artist collective 'Krimpener Kunstwaard'.
